Good Morning, Ladies – I hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving and happy shopping to those Black Friday friends in the group! (If you haven’t heard… Rachel’s has a pretty awesome sale going on today too so make sure you check it out!) 🖤🛍️

Anyways, yesterday as we were driving home from gathering with family, the song “Just Be Held” by Casting Crowns came on the radio. I believe I have shared about this song before but for those who don’t know, it has significant meaning in my life.

It was the song where after four long years of infertility, I felt myself fully surrender to God’s plan for my life and allowed myself to just be held by Gods love. Seven+ years later, on the other side of that trial with my beautiful daughter in our lives, the song holds even more power to me now. I can look back on this side of that heartache and see how God was truly working through my pain and suffering.

So of course, this song always remind me of that journey and part of my life story… But yesterday when I heard it, I realized that it’s not only a song that was true for my past. It is a song that is also true in my present!

If I’m being honest, I was struggling with some deep anger when the song came on the radio yesterday. I have been in what feels like a forever fight against another heartache and struggle and I was stewing over the lack of progress and frustration of the valley.

Just then, the chorus of the song sang through the car and one of the lines spoke straight to my heart. “You worlds not falling apart, it’s falling into place. I’m on the throne, stop holding on and just be held.”

Just like that I was reminded that about a decade ago, I felt like my whole world was falling apart when truly, it was all falling into place!

That reminder filled me with HOPE!

Even now, when things in my life can feel like they are falling apart, I can put my hope in Christ and trust that he is making them actually all fall into place!

None of us know the exact moment when God is going to turn our hardship into blessings for his glory but we can rest assured that it IS coming!

So what about you – Is there something hard in your life right now?
— The storm is where you’ll find him!

Are you tired of trying to hold it all together?
— There is freedom in surrender!

Have you forgotten who is on the throne and holds all things in his hands?
— Lay it down and let it go & just be held!

🤍Ashley
