Good morning, Ladies!
My daughter and I have been reading a book called "Sleep Psalms" at night. I highly recommend it; it’s so comforting!
A couple of nights ago, we read something that really stuck with both of us:
“As you wind down the day, imagine God between you and your opposition, your struggle, or your difficult circumstances. See him as your shield!"
I have reread this a thousand times!
Isn’t that so comforting?!!
We literally drew a picture of our struggle, with God in the middle, protecting us. It brought us both so much comfort and assurance!
So, whatever battle you’re facing, remember that you aren’t alone! You have a defender who not only fights your battles, but also shelters you under His protection.
I pray that this imagery brings you a new level of comfort today, along with a deeper level of peace, hope, and the ability to breathe freely!
“I love you, LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:1-3
