Good morning, Ladies!
This week, the word that’s been on my mind is “trust.” I’ve been tested, particularly in a family situation where fear, worry, and negativity took over.
Despite my struggles, my patient husband stood by me, encouraging me to lean on him and trust him to carry the burden.
He asked me a question that really hit me-Why do I trust him in so many areas of life but fail when things get really tough? It’s a bit embarrassing to share this, but it’s so true!
But it made me realize how similar this is in my faith journey—I trust God in many areas of my life until things get tough, and then I struggle to maintain that trust, seeking immediate answers instead.
A wise mentor and dear friend recently shared with me that faith means praising God in the storm, trusting Him in the valley, and following Him in the dark. There’s that word again! It all comes back to trust.
If any of you can relate to this struggle, let’s join hands and strengthen our trust muscles together. Remember, even in the valley, HE IS IN CONTROL
And may we remind ourselves that these moments of struggle are opportunities for growth. Just as physical muscles need exercise to become stronger, our trust in God can also grow through challenges.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
If you need prayer for any reason, please message me! You’re not alone in this journey!
