It’s been a week.

One of those weeks I am glad is over and done.

Honestly, it felt like if it could go wrong…it did.

Have you ever had a week like that?

To top it off, I fell down the stairs and now I am covered in bruises and get to wear this fancy brace on my wrist.

F.U.N.

I was having a bit of a pity party yesterday morning when I read this verse:

Psalm 103:1-5
“Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's!”

What a great reminder to let ALL that I am praise the Lord.

ALL of me:

The broken parts.
The sad parts.
The weary parts.
The crazy parts.
And the good parts, too.

Why can I praise Him in the midst of one of “those” weeks?

Because no matter the circumstances happening in my life, God is good and he fills my life with good things. He supplies all I need, and he blesses me abundantly. He renews my spirit daily!

He is a good, good God.

Wherever you are today- on the mountain top or in the valley, can I invite you to let your whole being (including the broken parts!) praise the Lord?

You can thank him for his unconditional love.
Or his mercies that are new each morning.
Or for a tribe of women who love you and are here for you.
Or for the hope of heaven.
Or even for the hard times that make you dependent on him.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being such a good God. Thank you for being the Redeemer, the Healer, and the Savior. Thank you for filling my life with good things and crowning me with love and mercy. Help me never forget your goodness! May you receive all the glory today and forevermore.
Amen

We are better together!
❤️Mint
