Good Morning!
Today’s post is simple, but I hope you find encouraging:)
I'm throwing down a challenge for you: Learn something new.
Last week was a bit of a rollercoaster for me.
Our family wasn’t feeling the best, and we had some tough decisions to make.
Truthfully, finding joy was hard.
And what seemed even more painful, was my kids sensed it.
Now insert Josh.
My patience and gracious husband!
He had a challenge for me-learn something new with the girls today.
This was the last thing I wanted to do, because I didn’t feel I had enough strength.
But I pushed through those feelings.
And this may sound a bit silly, but we learned how to make bread.
The process was filled with lots of laughter, because like my girls-many of you know I don’t cook, let alone bake
But before I knew it, I was dancing and singing with them
I remember pausing in that moment, because I had joy and it was so unexpected, but the gratitude I felt was huge!
So if you find yourself struggling to find joy, take on the challenge Josh gave me-learn something new today!
You got this!
Push through those feelings!
Turn on your favorite worship song and let the spirit do the rest!
“Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him.”
