Well… for the last week the stomach flu has taken a toll on my family.

I haven’t slept through the night in many, many nights and I’ve had the “opportunity” to clean up a lots of messes. In fact, just this morning I was cleaning up when I wanted to be posting this blog.

Not so fun.

But I have clung to this verse and I recite it whenever I feel discouraged:

Psalm 33:20-22 NLT
“We put our hope in the LORD.
He is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone.”

Sweet friends, often life hands us situations we would rather NOT have to face. In those moments, we can choose to hope in the Lord and trust that he will carry us through it.

So… what is it that you face today that you can choose to put your HOPE in the LORD?

Health issues?
A broken relationship?
A wayward child?
Financial distress?
Crippling anxiety?
Depression that just won’t shake?
Feeling invisible?
Loneliness?

Can I invite you to lay it in the capable hands of the one who formed the earth?

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you loving me so much. Thank you for having a plan for my life that is good. I humbly come before you today, hand you my challenges, and ask that you would give me a fresh batch of hope. You are the only way through and I trust you. Please send me your Spirit, to empower me to face today.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

We are better together! You got this, dear friend! There is reason to hope!

❤️Mint
