Did you see the beautiful northern lights last weekend?
I did! I was so excited because I had never seen them before.
It was breathtaking!
I couldn’t help but think of this passage:
Psalm 19:1-4 declares:
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.”
God really is the master artist! He created a world so beautiful and nothing can compare to his handiwork. It is beyond anything we could think of or imagine.
Can I invite you today to take 5 minutes and admire God’s beautiful creation? Step outside and soak up the warm sun, or notice the beautiful buds on plants, or sit and watch the sun setting. As you do, praise God for his design. He created all of it, and he is worthy of our praise!
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being such an incredible creator. Thank you for drenching our world with beauty and for displaying your glory for us to see. You are worthy of all the praise! Let my life be a reflection of your glory today, just like the beautiful northern lights dancing in the sky.
